The boxing public continues to feel anticipation and eagerness to find out more information about Floyd Mayweather Jr’s next fight. However, the unbeaten boxer also knows how to keep everyone even more excited by only giving hints and little details here and there.
On Thursday, during a Mayweather Promotions event at the Little Creek Casino, he hinted a few more details about his next fight. “Whoever it’s going to be, it’s going to be a solid guy,” Mayweather said when asked about his next fight. Mayweather also stated that he would be fighting twice in 2014, in May and in September.
Now that we are all aware that Mayweather will fight a solid guy in his next fight, it now leaves a question of whether he would face the ever-favourite British boxer Amir Khan. We all know that Khan seemed a delicate fighter who has lost twice in his last four fights. Khan has always been very vocal of his interest of fighting Mayweather, but will the five-division world champion ever consider fighting him?
